What’s the Word? The One Word Resolution

0

Happy 2018!

I love the start of a new year. It’s a fresh clean slate with so many possibilities — a time to plan and try new things. Instead of making a long list of things to achieve this year, I am selecting a word to help me achieve goals on a deeper level.

The action of choosing a word is full of potential and possibility. Sometimes your word may come right away or it may not, and sometimes it may not make sense. Give it time and live with it a little. It can be anything…serious, funny, plural, and singular. It should be something with personal meaning. It might be something you need or want to change, and maybe it’s not just a word, but a short phrase.

This is YOUR word!

{Choosing a word might be easy or it might take some time. Write it down!}

My word personally and professionally this year is INSPIRE. I have never done the one word project and my goal is to hold myself accountable every month to do something with my word. This year I want to be purposefully inspiring to those around me in all aspects of life. I want to be my children’s encouragement, a motivational leader and the spark in someone’s day.

{I love the synonyms for inspire, my word of the year.}

Embrace your word and have it visible. I have never done the one word project and my goal is to hold myself accountable every month to do something with my word. I plan on hanging it somewhere in my studio space. I want to encourage and INSPIRE you to take a moment, write something down and be motivated at a deeper level. The power of the written word is incredible!

Here’s to the New Year, a new word and all the amazing potential it brings! Will you join us in this challenge? I would love for you to share your word of the year with us.
