Pure Luxe Salon, Spa, Medspa {Giveaway}

A few of us KMB girls had the privilege of trying out Pure Luxe Salon, Spa & Medspa before they generously gave a $10 gift card to EVERYONE that attended our Mom’s Night Out!  Needless to say, with that little card in my pocket (and an amazing first experience), I will be returning… often.

The first thing that struck me when I walked in was how luxurious it was.  From the marble floors to the sparkling chandeliers, if you are looking for a luxurious spa experience, this is the place.  I felt underdressed!

The staff were all very professional and helpful.  When you visit, they encourage you to arrive several minutes early to fill out some paperwork.  And while it may seem a burden, I was comforted by how thoroughly they cared about my medical history, my health, and my safety before ever even serving me.  Despite any negative experiences or stories I had heard of “massage parlors,” Pure Luxe is not one of those.  It is very clean, very professional, and beyond luxurious.

After we filled out our forms, they took us to the changing room… did I mention chandeliers?  And secure digital lockers?  And several Kohler Experience Showers?  Oh my!

Once we were robed, they led us to the calming lounge where we could enjoy coffee or water (flavored with cucumbers or lemons) and a little chat before receiving our 1-hour Swedish massage.  Darkened, individual rooms with soothing music and heated beds made it a full-sensory experience.  One where you leave almost exhausted from being so utterly pampered!  Before I left, I asked my masseuse if they had couples rooms and the answer was, “of course!” You know… just in case I want to share this pampering secret with my husband someday.

After our massages, we were invited to take some time to relax and enjoy the spa’s amenities.  While we didn’t try the showers (and regretted it later), we did enjoy the sauna and snacks in the calming lounge.  We were allowed to bring in our own snacks and wine, which they set out beautifully and provided all the glasses and plates we needed to enjoy our time together. (They even made my mini-banana muffins look good!)  Pure Luxe provides a catered lunch option for an additional fee, which would make this an ideal place for bridal parties, a girls’ night out, or a romantic indulgence.

Finally, they took us down the hall and treated us each to a wash and blowout in their full-service salon.  As a mom, I rarely take the time to get my hair cut, let alone colored or anything.  However, I found my stylist to be very interested in who I was and what I was looking for in a hairstyle – not trying to push an expensive look that I would have trouble maintaining.  She gave me some great suggestions for how I could always look and feel great, even when it was hard to get to the salon.

So, moms, if you’re looking for a luxurious experience – where you will feel pampered, refreshed, and cared for – Pure Luxe Salon, Spa & Medspa is your little piece of paradise.  Conveniently located off of Pelissippi Parkway on Hardin Valley road, it is a lovely little getaway that will make you feel like the amazing woman you are.
