Recently, we celebrated our esteemed leader and Knoxville Moms owner, Natalie, by throwing her a surprise baby shower for her fourth little one! Baby shower locations are a bit trickier than some other venues, and thanks to her standing date night with her husband, it was easy for us to find a location since they happened to have a private dining room.
But since others might find themselves struggling to find a location with such ease, I decided to put together a list of places to celebrate such an occasion:
Altruda’s – Cedar Bluff – A semi-private dining room that can seat up to 40 people
Applecake Tea Room – Farragut – Call for details
Barley’s – Downtown Knoxville – Call for details
Bridgewater Place – Cedar Bluff – Multiple spaces available, call for details
Calhoun’s on the River – Downtown Knoxville – A private dining area that can accommodate 250 guests or be divided into more intimate settings
Cansler Family YMCA – East Knoxville – Community room seats 150 – 200 people with adjacent kitchen
Chesapeake’s – Downtown Knoxville – Two private dining rooms that seat 30 – 40 and can be booked for breakfast, lunch or dinner
Deane Hill Community Center – West Knoxville – A full-size gymnasium, rec room, and kitchen; also connects to the Knoxville Bridge Club which has a large bridge/community room
Lion’s Club Community Building – Fountain City – Seating for up to 90 people
The Front Porch Restaurant – Powell – Call for details
The Hive – Downtown Knoxville – Amenities include: seating for up to 50, restroom, small kitchen with a sink and fridge, large corner bar/buffet with sink, perfect for serving food and drinks, projector screen (if requested), and hi-speed wifi
Jubilee Banquet Facility – Powell – Amenities include: seating for 10 – 250 guests, not to mention an adorable 1950’s style retro cafe seating area that accommodates up to 30, large screen video/computer projection systems available, full sound system available, and food fully catered on-site
Knoxville Zoo – North Knoxville – Multiple spaces available, call for details
Lakeside Tavern – Farragut – Private party room
Lighthouse Knoxville – Bearden – Multiple spaces available, call for details
