Halloween Trick or Treat at the Pigeon Forge Community Center

Halloween at Knoxville Center!

 October 31st from 5:30-8:30pm
Free event; includes music, face-painting, balloon twisting
Mall-Wide Trick or Treating 5:30-8pm
Mall-wide trick or treating will occur from 5:30 – 8pm on Tuesday, October 31st. Please visit center court upon arrival to receive a list of participating stores. Participating stores will also have a pumpkin on display in the window. We ask that only children ages 12 and under participate in this event. Please bring a bag from home to receive your goodies.
Costume Competition 7-7:30pm
Parents with children 12 years and under are encouraged to enter their child in our Halloween costume contest! The event will be hosted live from center court. The winners will receive a prize to be announced on the day of the event. (Please do not include masks in your costume. If a mask is included you will only be permitted to wear the mask during the contest alone)

Carved/Painted Pumpkin Contest 7:30-8pm

Bring your carved or painted pumpkin to the mall before 7pm to enter into the competition. Mall goers will vote on their favorite pumpkin by placing a ticket in the box placed in front of each contestant’s pumpkin. The pumpkin with the most votes will win a prize to be announced on the day of the event.

Gatlinburg’s Trick or Treat Kick Off Karnival

Fun for visiting guests and local residents – contests, costumed characters, candy and a pumpkin contest plus trick or treat safety from the Gatlinburg Police Department and fire safety from the Gatlinburg Fire Department.


Family Fun

Peanuts Pumpkin Patch Express

Guests will hear a narration of Schulz’s “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” as the train travels to the Pumpkin Patch. Upon arrival, passengers will be greeted and have a photo opportunity with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy. During your 1 hour and 45 minute layover, your activities to enjoy at The Great Pumpkin Patch will include:

  • campfire marshmallows

Ijams Creepy Family Crawl

Come to Ijams Nature Center for our Family Creepy Crawl to have a hauntingly good time! You and your family will set out on a short hike where you will meet some spooky characters. Fear not! These characters will put your phobias at ease with some cool facts about themselves and the critters they call friends. Come early before your scheduled hike or stay after your hike to make and take creepy crafts. Also, there will be treats for all of the little ghouls. Costumes are definitely encouraged! All ages. Registration is required. Hikes leave every 30 minutes, beginning at 6pm. When registering you must pick a specific time slot. You are required to show for the time slot you register for due to limiting numbers on each hike.

Monsters at the Museum

Join the East Tennessee Historical Society for a spooky event highlighting the “monsters” and superstitions that have called East Tennessee home over the years. From the wampus cat to eerie Victorian mourning traditions, we’ll delve into the region’s history of sightings and folklore! The event will feature a variety of Halloween themed children’s games, crafts, and storytelling. Children will Trick or Treat to various stops around the East Tennessee History Center. Costume contests will take place on the hour with prizes for most creative, funniest, and scariest costume, so dress to impress!
