She was born and raised in Illinois and moved to the great southern state of Tennessee. She makes her bed in Knoxville, but she loves to travel all over East Tennessee. She considers herself a walking contradiction; a Type A personality with a creative streak, a yankee who says fixin’, and a lover of comedy who couldn’t tell a punch-line to save her soul. Her days are spent making modern, simple, no-frills photographs and spending time with her husband and baby girl. She is blessed that her art allows her to meet new couples and new families every day.

Our babies grow up too fast so capturing their smiles, their laughs, and the love you all share together is so important.  I love to capture families so that you look back and remember what life was like at that age and so your kids always look back and remember how early you loved them.

Blog | Instagram

Wild Blossom Photography is natural night lifestyle portrait photographer based in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. When I was little I would play house, school, and loved my camera. Years later, I became a teacher, wife and a mother and photographer. I have been blessed with a supportive family, deep friendships and a faithful husband. I married a country-boy and I’m a mom of the sweetest, laid back kiddos. I am a former middle school teacher, Young Life leader and now take on the full job as a stay-at-home mama to three sweet kiddos.  I love the south, front porch swings, and side-splitting laughter. There is something perfectly imperfect about the simplicity of natural, organic, candid moments. I enjoy capturing moments of real authenticity and joy. My goal is to allow sessions to unfold naturally which yields images of raw, genuine emotion. Easing the mind of a stressed mama and letting her see we caught the most beautiful photo of her child is a blessing. I specialize from maternity, birth sessions, milestone to family sessions.
