Moms, I’ll be honest: I dread swimsuit season after each child. After my first was born in May, I foolishly went to Target in search of a swimsuit just a size or two shy of what I needed pre-baby. Needless to say, I left the dressing room in a hormonal fit of tears. When I was pregnant with baby #2, I was more mentally prepared for the fact that my stomach was about to look like a busted can of biscuits. I spent the money and got a gorgeous new suit and I’m so glad I did!
Ladies, I’m here to tell you that you do not have to wear the billowy floral standard mom-suit that gives you no shape and no confidence. You are beautiful and radiant, and it’s time to take the bull by the horns when it comes to swimsuit shopping.
Here are some tried and true places you might have never heard of to shop for swimwear. You can thank me later!
Lime Ricki Swimware
LimeRicki always has great sales. Their swim gear is top-quality and is a great investment with all the mix/match choices! I have several Lime Ricki tops and bottoms that I like to swap out. Their swim skirts are adorable and provide just enough coverage for chasing a wild toddler at a splash pad. I wore mine to Wilderness at the Smokies and it was perfect for splashing around with the kids!
Albion is another great option for top-quality swimwear. Although a bit pricey, the material and style have a designer feel. I bought the Audrey this season and I am very happy with the overall fit, look, and quality!
TheSeea has some fabulous options for formal kinds of swimming gear! Their swimsuits are gorgeous and they have a ton of options including rash guards, surf suits, and even a kid’s line. Contributor Kara Williams has already been rocking her suit this summer!
