Tickets on Sale February 2 for Farragut’s Father-Daughter Dance
The Town of Farragut’s annual “Shamrock Ball – A Father-Daughter Dance” celebrates 10 years in 2015! Tickets will be available Monday, February 2 for the event on Saturday, March 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Farragut High School Commons.
Tickets are $15 for a couple and $5 for each additional person in advance and $20 per couple and $8 for each additional person at the door. Tickets will be available at www.townoffarragut.org/register (a nominal $0.06 convenience fee will be assessed) and at the Farragut Town Hall (11408 Municipal Center Drive, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) beginning Monday, February 2 through noon on Friday, March 6.
Presented by the Town of Farragut and Kiwanis Club of Farragut, the “Shamrock Ball” will be an evening of music and dancing provided by Gann’s Entertainment, light refreshments and a craft. Event staff will take a photo of each couple or family; photos will be available for purchase after the event from an online source. Fathers and daughters of all ages – as well as all family members – are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Event proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Fresh Air Camp, which is operated by the Downtown Knoxville Kiwanis Club to provide disadvantaged youth with an overnight camp experience, and the Kiwanis International Eliminate Project, whose purpose is to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.
