Why It’s the Perfect Time to Bring Your Family to a Photographer

Springtime in Knoxville is one of the most stunning times of year — the trees start to blossom, the sunshine comes out, and flowers start to bloom. It’s the sign of new beginnings and fresh starts — which is why we think it’s the perfect time to capture the growth of your family over the last year. Whether little Ava lost her first tooth or Johnny took his first steps, you will cherish those snapshots frozen in time for years to come.

As moms, we catch ourselves thinking we will remember the sound of their footsteps on the wooden floor or the way their hair lays just so. But as we know, time moves so quickly and memories often become a warm blur.

Even better news this spring: Little Nest Portraits will be opening up this April, just in time to capture your family.

The talented photographers at Little Nest Portraits specialize in capturing that magical moment where chaos meets beauty to tell the story of your family and to capture your true connections. The natural light in the studios allows their photographers to create truly one-of-a-kind photos that are perfect for timeless wall art, albums, prints and even wallpaper to fit the unique style of your home.

Far from your typical photography studio, Little Nest thinks of all the details from consulting you on styling your session to matching your décor, to spending time getting to know your kiddos to make them as comfortable as possible (and ensure those natural smiles you love so much)!

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming them to the Knoxville community on April 2nd! As a special offer for Knoxville Moms readers, they’re offering a FREE session or sessionette just for us! For more details and to redeem this amazing offer, visit here.

Located in the Pinnacle at Turkey Creek, their April 2nd Grand Opening celebration will include refreshments from Scrumps Bakery, a free photo booth, facepainting from 12-2pm and lots of fun! We hope you stop by to say hello! To RSVP, visit here.

Over 20 years ago, I moved to Knoxville and fell in love with the city that has now truly become my home. Shortly after moving here, I married my college sweetheart, and when not working we set out to travel as much as we could. After working as a financial manager for six years, I welcomed my first son in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom. Two years later we added another baby boy to make us a family of four. In June 2016, we welcomed our third son. I founded Knoxville Moms in November 2013 which began my career as a work-from-home mom, and it grew to the expansion of Chattanooga Moms in March 2016. We welcomed our first girl in November 2017 making us a family of six and adding a little pink in our house. In June 2021, I became the co-owner of the Atlanta Mom website, and in March 2022 I became the owner of the Nashville Moms parenting website. When I'm not carpooling the kids to sports and activities, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, reading a good book, and dreaming about my toes in the sand. I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy connecting the moms of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
