Angela Floyd Schools
Ages: 3-5 years
The Angela Floyd Schools’ Performing Arts Program for ages 3-5 is designed as an introduction to a structured classroom setting. This exciting new program not only immerses your child in the performing and fine arts, but also prepares them for Kindergarten and beyond by giving them a lifelong love of learning. Children turning 3 years of age by September 15th who have completed potty training are eligible for the Performing Arts Program.Our fine arts based curriculum features group learning, hands-on cognitive activities, Music FunTime, acro, art, drama, ballet, tap, creative movement, academics, and play. The Angela Floyd Schools’ Performing Arts Program prepares young minds for great things!
The Performing Arts Program will run from the week of August 8th, 2016 – the week of May 15th, 2017. It is a 2 day a week program offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45am-11:45am at AFS – West.
Berean Christian School
Ages: Pre-K through 12
The ministry of Berean Christian School (BCS) exists to help Christian parents raise their children to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to help children realize their full potential, and to glorify God spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. BCS’s academics are aimed at maximizing the potential of each and every child, as well as the blossoming fine arts program, The Studio. New for the 2017-2018 school year, BCS is also offering K3 and K4 classes, formerly known as Garden of Eden Preschool. Two classrooms will be focused on teaching the basics for 2-3 year olds — alphabet, numbers, colors, Bible stories, etc. The other classroom focuses on preparing 4-5 year olds for entry into kindergarten.
Black Oak Height Baptist Church
Ages: 6 months-Pre-K
Black Oak Heights Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out offers an enriching, loving, Christian environment for children ages 6 months thru Pre-Kindergarten. Our desire at MDO is that children will grow just like Jesus did…”in wisdom, stature and in favor of God”! We incorporate Bible stories, art, music, social skills, self-help skills, and academic skills needed to prepare children for their future.
We offer an MDO Summer Session in June and July (Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s from 8:30 – 1:30). Starting in August, we operate from 9:00 – 2:00, Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday. You may choose to attend any 1 or 2 days per week. Contact us or visit our website for more information.
Church Street UMC Preschool
Church Street UMC Preschool is a faith based 3 STAR program. We offer full time preschool for ages 2-5 and are open all year M-F 7:30-5:30. Wallace Memorial Mother’s Day Out
Ages: 18 Months to Pre-K
Wallace MDO is a two day a week program that strives to offer a quality service to families with children aged 18 months to Pre-K. We offer curriculum from ABCJesusLovesme.com that focuses on Bible, academics and development. Our program runs the calendar school year August-May (ending a week before Knox County schools are out) Tuesday and Thursday 9am-2pm and costs $130 a month with a once time registration fee of $75.

The Episcopal School of Knoxville
Ages: 3-8th grade
The Episcopal School of Knoxville is a co-educational, independent day school offering Junior Kindergarten through Eighth grade. ESK’s Junior Kindergarten program is an academic program designed for 3 and 4 year olds. The Jr. K 4 program is 5 days per week and the Jr. K 3 program offers a 3 (T, W, Th) or 5 day option. The Junior Kindergarten day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and extended care (1:30-3:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.) is available for an additional fee.
