At the Primrose School of Farragut we believe that with the right foundation, anything is possible. It is with this belief that we strive to build active minds, healthy bodies, and happy hearts for all children ages 5 weeks to 5 years including private kindergarten. Our balanced approach to learning fosters an appreciation for not only academics but character development as well. This summer is exciting as we offer Summer Camp in place of our after school “Explorers” program. Each week highlights a new thematic unit of learning with fun filled programs and field trips for current kindergarteners through third grade.
Ages: 3-8th grade
The Episcopal School of Knoxville is a co-educational, independent day school offering Junior Kindergarten through Eighth grade. ESK’s Junior Kindergarten program is an academic program designed for 3 and 4 year olds. The Jr. K 4 program is 5 days per week and the Jr. K 3 program offers a 3 (T, W, Th) or 5 day option. The Junior Kindergarten day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and extended care (1:30-3:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.) is available for an additional fee. Class size is limited to 16 students. We have committed to creating and maintaining a place for our youngest children that acknowledges, reflects and communicates our beliefs. The values of our Junior Kindergarten program are based on an image of the child as curious, competent and capable of co-constructing knowledge.

The AJCC Preschool is a play-based learning center for toddlers through pre-K that is guided by Jewish values and culture. We embrace all faiths and fosters individual learning, peer relationships, and socially responsible values in education.

My name is Karen Vacaliuc, and I am a birth doula, connecting families through birth. I offer doula services in the Anderson, Knox, Morgan, and Roane Counties. I am passionate about mothers, babies, and family. I also have a deep desire to empower women through positive experiences of pregnancy, labor, and childbirth.
I know that the support I can give to mothers-to-be and their partners, during pregnancy and childbirth, can help make their experience less stressful, more informed, more comfortable, and more satisfying. One quote that I have read before stays with me. “The motherhood ideal is impossible to achieve because it ignores reality. Hey y’all, my name is Kendall Shields and I am a senior student at The University of Tennessee. Throughout my 4 years at UT, I have been lucky enough to have been mentored by some amazing women in the Knoxville area, many of whom have had young children. Therefore, I have gotten to see first-hand, how hard it can be to schedule those girlfriend lunch-dates, coffee chats, women’s bible studies, or even just a few hours alone to get some work done with those cute little distractions by your side.
I would love nothing more than to lift this burden for you, Mom! I am offering my childcare services, free of charge, in order to open up space for those life-giving conversations and restful reunions you deserve.

The Farragut Church of Christ Preschool seeks to provide a variety of creative learning opportunities for each child.
