Halloween Events Roundup 2016

Alright fellow Knoxvillians, I don’t know about you, but our recent tease of cooler temperatures and the slightest hints of changing leaves around town have me super excited fall is in the very near future! Grab your PSL and get out your planners! Fall fun is just around the corner and the planning starts now! This year’s season at the mazes and patches is shorter than usual, which translates into cramming more fun into fewer weekends, so be ready!

Listed below (in order of opening date) are several places in and around Knoxville so be sure to check the addresses to find one closest to the area for which you are looking. Many of these venues offer coupons for admission discounts, usually on the discount websites like Groupon, Living Social, FlutterToday, etc., so be sure to check those sites prior to going to save a little money! Following the list of pumpkin patches, you can find a list of spookier events, several of which are held at the same venues. Finally, I’ve listed many more places which include family-friendly Halloween festivities and/or trick-or-treating on certain days through the month of October. Be sure to check below to find a fun event that fits your family!

Corn Mazes/Pumpkin Patches

I want to start with my absolute favorite: Oakes Farm. We have been to their festivities the last five years and have really enjoyed it every time. The highlight of each trip changes as the ages of our children change each year, but there is always fun for every age! Make a point to try the large jumping pillow, the tall tube slides, and the pedal kart race track. You also can’t beat their southern hospitality! You can see more from our previous trips here and here.
